Anthony Gonzalez, aka M83, will be scoring Tom Cruise's upcoming sci-fi flick, 'Oblivion'. Due out next April, the Joseph Kosinski-directed film focuses on a veteran soldier-turned-space explorer (Cruise) sent to a distant planet to destroy the last remnants of an alien race. Maybe they'll finally find the right home for M83's scary looking giant Fly.

Speaking to The Playlist, Gonzalez admits that he's been wanting to do a sountrack for quite some time now, “I’m not afraid to do my first soundtrack on a big Hollywood movie, with a big budget and a lot of pressure, I like challenges and it excites me more than frightens me.”
