This free concert series and interactive festival took place the first Saturday of every month at The Piazza at Schmidt's from May through September 2010. Bands that rocked the Summer Block Party includes Matt & Kim, Ok Go, Needtobreathe, Civil Twilight, Free Energy.

If you haven't been to The Piazza, it's part of the country’s largest private urban renewal initiative — a beautifully landscaped, 80,000 square foot open-air plaza with free events year-round, surrounded by three new buildings including 35 artist’s studios and boutiques, four new restaurants, 500 apartments and 50,000 square feet of office space in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Located at 1050 N. Hancock St., or approximately at 2nd Street and Germantown Ave., between Girard and Poplar, Northern Liberties, Philadelphia.

Free Energy, Ike, and Talain Rayne rocked the final Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party of the season at the Piazza on Saturday, 9/4.
