The Radio 104.5 Summer Block Party Series returns. As always, it's free at The Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties! Get there early to get a good spot! All thanks to our sponsors for making it happen!

Where? The Piazza at Schmidt's
The Piazza

If you haven't been to The Piazza, it's part of the country’s largest private urban renewal initiative — a beautifully landscaped, 80,000 square foot open-air plaza with free events year-round, surrounded by three new buildings including 35 artist’s studios and boutiques, new restaurants, 500 apartments and 50,000 square feet of office space in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Located at 1050 N. Hancock St., or approximately at 2nd Street and Germantown Ave., between Girard and Poplar, Northern Liberties, Philadelphia.

Can I bring a lawn chair?
You can bring lawn chairs, however most stand. If you choose to bring a lawn chair you might want to move further to the back of the crowd.

Is there parking available?
Yes. There are several pay lots across the street from The Piazza. We have no affiliation with these parking lots so it’s your call. Off street parking is also available. READ ALL SIGNS regarding parking. Radio 104.5, The City Of Philadelphia, The Piazza At Schmidt’s or any other event partner or sponsor is not responsible for your vehicle. If you don’t pay attention, the PPA will.

Can I bring a cooler?
Yes, however alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside the Miller Lite Beer Garden.

How can I get a press pass?
We know you have a really cool blog but legitimate credentials representing a credible news or entertainment outlet  are required. Contact Loraine Ballard Morrill – loraineballardmorrill@clearchannel.com

Are Radio 104.5 Summer Block Parties rain or shine?
Yes. Bring a poncho if you must!

Is there handicapped viewing?
Get there early to avoid crowds and go to the backstage breezeway located on Hancock Street.  Notify an event staff member that you need accommodations and we’ll be glad to help.

Will there be food? Water? Bathrooms? Where?
The Piazza is stocked with all kinds of bars and restaurants you are welcome to. Portable restrooms are on Hancock Street

Can I take Septa?
Yes
From all points west: Take the MFL (Market-Frankford Line) Subway to Girard Station
From all points west on Girard Avenue: Take #15 Trolley to Girard Station at Girard & Front
From all points south: Take the Broad Street Subway to the MFL or #15 Trolley to Girard Station
From the east: Take PATCO to 8th & Market Station, transfer to the MFL and take to Girard Station
All Regional Rail Routes: Take to Suburban Station and transfer to MFL and take to Girard Station
