Midfield - "Deferred" Music Video

New music Fridays are even more special when one of those said releases comes from our very own backyard!

Today Philadelphia's own Midfield bring us a new video called "Deferred," and I personally recommend you make this one a priority!

The band, who's been around since 2016, has been honing their pop punk sound, which takes me right back to high school literally growing up with bands like New Found Glory and the like. The song picks you up from note one and never lets you go, and you'll have it stuck in your head all week!

"Deferred" comes from their debut EP "Happy Thoughts," which is available now!

Of the track, guitarist Kurt Nubbemeyer says: "The song's about a person stuck in the middle of a situation where everything’s falling apart and no one around them is doing anything to make the situation better but they’re constantly being reassured everything’s gonna be fine. They’re tired of hearing it and won’t buy into that and have to cut ties with those people."

The video is equally as infectious as the song, showing the band working a desk job where they've been going through the motions. All that changes though, as the guys end up spicing it up quite a bit! Hah!

Enough talk: enjoy the premiere of the new Midfield video!
