Mike Shinoda sits down with Jessie backstage before performing at ourRadio 104.5 11th Birthday Celebration Night 2!
They discuss Mike's new album "Post Traumatic," that he started almost a year ago when battling anxiety. His 'diary' includes sixteen songs as a journey from a raw and emotion place back to normal. Mike explains how different people relate to different songs off the album depending where they are on their journey: "Just like any album you kind of attach different things going on in your life to songs in a different way. Interpret stuff in a different way." Mike says the material is so close to home, that he was debating releasing it but hopes that his music can help someone else as he explains his music in depth.
